Job Description Starr Companies is seeking a skilled Group Policy Engineer and Active Directory Security Administrator to join our Cybersecurity Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in writing, testing, and maintaining Group Policies, and ensuring the security of our Active Directory and Microsoft Entra environments. This position requires a commitment to aligning our Group Policy with the CIS Benchmarks and maintaining a hardened baseline consistent with cybersecurity best practices. Responsibilities: Design, plan, and implement Group Policies to meet both security requirements and organizational needs. Optimize Group Policy performance and ensure robust security measures are in place. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Group Policy configurations. Manage Group Policy backup and recovery processes. Administer Administrative Templates and refine policy settings. Collaborate with the infrastructure team to secure administration across the AD and Entra environments. Contribute strategically to the management of user and computer environments at Starr Companies. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a related field. Expertise with various Active Directory tools and familiarity with Microsoft Entra security solutions. Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for administrative and automation tasks. Proven experience in using and maintaining Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security control frameworks including NIST 800-53, 20 Critical Controls, ISO 27002, and CIS. Advanced troubleshooting capabilities in system integration, and extensive experience in working with cybersecurity, network, and virtualization technologies to develop comprehensive security solutions. Experience in Microsoft Intune policy creation using CSPs and Custom OMA-URI is highly preferred.
