Stars and Strikes operates 17 entertainment centers throughout the southeastern U.S that offer a wide range of activities. We provide a fun and family-friendly environment where patrons can enjoy bowling, arcade games, laser tag, restaurants, bars, and more.
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, here is what you'll be doing:
HR Strategy and Execution
- Assist in the performance management process, including performance evaluations, management training, and feedback sessions.
- Help identify training and development opportunities to support performance enhancement.
- Assist in the development and presentation of HR-related management training.
- Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Conduct investigations into team member complaints, and concerns, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, including performance improvement plans and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to team members and managers.
- Visit locations to provide one on one and/or group training and to do location checks.
- Assume continuity of HR operations and seamless delivery of HR services during the HR Director's absence.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles which involve team member relations, performance management and investigations.
- Previous experience supporting multiple locations preferred.
- Ability for local and overnight travel to out of state locations (15%)
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Prior benefit administration experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Coordinate all Leaves of Absences and required communications.
- Assist in administration of all benefit programs, including wellness preventative care.
