As a Bartender, you play a central role in shaping memorable guest experiences. Your responsibilities include crafting delightful beverages, ensuring prompt service, and maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. With your expertise in mixology, commitment to excellent guest interactions, and safety-conscious approach, you are an essential part of our team.

We seek an individual who is adaptable, energetic, and embodies the essence of STARSHIP Culture.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks required to open the bar and set up for service.
• This includes preparing garnishes and syrups, ensuring everything is ready for a smooth operation.
• Craft beverages for guests both at the bar and in the dining room.
• Mix cocktails, pour wine, and serve beer with precision and flair.
• Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, creating memorable experiences.
• Guide guests through any questions they may have and make intentional recommendations based on their preferences.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and build strong relationships.
• Recognize regular patrons and industry leaders, making them feel valued.
• Stay informed about all food and beverage menus.
• Be ready to describe menu items and suggest pairings.
• Assist in creating seasonal cocktail lists.
• Showcase creativity and adaptability in crafting, new and exciting drinks.
• Collaborate with the team to manage monthly liquor inventory.
• Ensure accurate stock levels and proper rotation.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of vessel safety procedures and equipment.
• Report all injuries, illnesses, in a timely manner
• Additional job duties assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fine dining environment
• Able to use POS systems
• TIPS Certificate
• Knowledge of and interest in fine cuisine and wines
• Outstanding knowledge of liquors and spirits
• Actively practice food safety procedures
• Able to take direction and complete tasks
• Organizational skills
• Effective time management
• Pleasant demeanor
• Positive and clear written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to engage guests successfully and build a relationship Impeccable grooming as defined by management and dress code
• Availability for flexible work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
