Daily Duties:

§ Responsible for the sustainment of systems within enterprise-class environment.
§ Provide support for emergent Windows operating system issues.
§ System installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, capacity planning, monitoring, and security procedures.
§ Lifecycle management solutions that track software inventory, deploy security patches, and administer software distribution, such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM).
§ Configuration, troubleshooting, and restoration of Windows network connectivity across virtualized network connections, local area connections, wide-area connections, firewalls, and virtual private networks, with understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation and boundaries.
Accessing servers and desktop users with remote support tools such as Windows Remote Desktop Connection service, SolarWinds Dameware, BeyondTrust/Bomgar, etc.
