JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting our operational and divisional management in analyzing business performance and profitability, in order to provide insightful business intelligence.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

• Prepare and analyze monthly KPI analysis and business reporting
• Work closely with plant operations/administrative departments to communicate and optimize financial performance
• Develop labor and overhead rates for annual standard costing process
• Provide financial support with annual audit requests, including inventory observations
• Provide financial support for month-end close, forecast and budgeting processes
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in financial performance
• Perform ad hoc business analysis and special projects

EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant business experience in similar role in a manufacturing environment; ideal candidate would have plant accounting experience supporting operations with multiple plants
• 3 years of cost accounting experience required
• Managerial experience in an accounting department or supporting plant operations team
• Advanced ERP system knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office applications (expert/advanced in Excel, intermediate PowerPoint, Word and Access)
• Experience with SAP ERP accounting system
• Knowledge of Power BI applications a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven leadership ability
• Hands-on and roll-up sleeves attitude; willing to be down in weeds of details to accomplish responsibilities and solve problems
• Relationship builder, team player and collaborative mindset
• Ability to summarize findings based upon large amounts of data
• Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
