What You Will Be Doing:
As the Medicaid Program Specialist 3, you will serve within the Systems and Analysis unit in direct support of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). You will be responsible for quality assurance, contract management tasks, DDI (design, development, and implementation) tasks, and monitoring changes in health industry standards and federal and state requirements as they relate to Medicaid and the MMIS. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) over areas such as benefit plan configuration, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), institutional claims processing, and maintenance of ICD diagnosis and surgical procedure codes within the MMIS.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
The current work environment involves two days in the office for team interaction and three days teleworking from home. The office is located at 4601 Business Park Blvd, Bldg. K is in Anchorage and is conveniently situated near shopping, restaurants, and commuting. Free parking is also available. For remote work, laptops, monitors, and docking stations are provided.
