Description Of JobTERM LIMITED POSITION: This position is term limited with an anticipated end date of approximately one year from the date of hire. This position is eligible for State employee benefits and may be extended as the situation warrants. Some Of Your Important Responsibilities Will Include
Minimum QualificationsThis is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows:
Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.
If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process.
Positions supporting some agencies such as the Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety will also require a pre-employment drug test.
This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed.
This position may require on-call duties as needed by the position.
Supplemental InformationIf this posting indicates “remote from anywhere in CO” in the title, periodic reporting to the primary state work location designated for the position is required. All remote work must be performed in Colorado.
While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position. There is no form of relocation assistance, financial or otherwise, available for any position. A reasonable timeframe for relocation will be established on an individual basis, while considering business needs, and determining a start date.

Some Of Your Important Responsibilities Will Include
- Collaborate with senior leaders to understand and align strategic objectives and ensure the support and success of project outcomes and value delivery.
- Provide a holistic view of processes, capabilities, preferences and functionality, identifying areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.
- Bridge the communication gap between stakeholders and technical teams, by providing a common language and framework for collaboration and understanding.
- Identify potential risks, gaps and pain points, recommend strategies and innovative solutions to address these challenges.
- Decide on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of business processes and overall business performance.
- Design optimized processes that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Build and populate an Architecture Repository that allows an enterprise to distinguish between different types of architectural assets.
Minimum QualificationsThis is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows:
- Ten (10) years of direct customer experience (Ex: consultation, advisory services, pre-sales, account management, product representation, or other leadership roles that interfaced directly with customers).
- Ten (10) years of hands-on experience working in a variety of information technology disciplines: application development, infrastructure, technical product representation, engineering, database administration, architecture, project management or business process analysis.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills and a proven track record of communicating at all levels within IT and the business.
- Proven track record maintaining executive level customer relationships through successful engagements.
