Description Of JobAt the Department of Revenue, we have the unique opportunity as public servants to impact the lives of each and every Colorado resident! The Driver Control Section in the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) exists to administer motor vehicle statutory requirements affecting driver's privilege, to compile and house motor vehicle related data and documents through data entry, electronic imaging, and filing. Our commitment to service and public safety is our primary focus.
We're hiring an organized self starter to be our Office Support Assistant in Driver Control! Use your multitasking skills to handle daily interruptions from staff and leadership while ensuring office supplies and equipment are ordered, distributed and stocked, and ad hoc tasks completed. Your interpersonal skills will help you navigate conversations and communicate effectively, while providing administrative functions to a large Driver Control Section. Primary DutiesOffice Management
  • Sorts and distributes documents
  • Logs processes into spreadsheets, databases and electronic documents as necessary
  • Orders, distributes, tracks and maintains office supplies and procurement
  • Maintains hiring resources and records
Project Management
  • Enters information pertaining to projects in trackers and software
  • Assists with vendor quotes
Facilities Management
  • Facilitates internal and external vendors during site visits and while services rendered.
  • Interfaces with building security, facility services and maintenance department
  • Warehouse functions - coordinates deliveries and deployment of purchases for the section
Security and Equipment
  • Maintains temporary security badges and keys
  • Assess and coordinates updates to IT equipment
  • Manages IT hardware and software inventory
  • Manages office furniture use and storage
  • Acts as liaison for Support Services Unit and Office of Information Technology

Minimum QualificationsExperience Only:Three (3) years of relevant experience in an administrative coordinator work or office management work
OR
Education And ExperienceA combination of related education and/or relevant experience in administrative coordinator work or office management work equal to three (3) years
Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Strong communication skills, specifically written communication

  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies and/or equipment

Conditions Of Employment With The CDOREmployees are in a position of public trust in the performance of their job duties and must operate in a manner that maintains the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and public confidence.
As a condition of employment with the CDOR, all personnel must file all necessary Colorado Individual Income Tax (CIIT) returns and pay tax obligations, therefore all employees must undergo a pre-employment evaluation of their tax records/accounts to ensure compliance with this policy. Final candidates must also complete a successful background investigation and reference check prior to appointment. Certain positions based on duties may require scheduled background investigations .
