OPEN COMPETITIVE

Responsible for payment processing within special programs and FLAIR.
Payment types include:
Brain & Spinal program
Process includes processing payments within Brain & Spinal’s special program named RIMS.Supporting documentation is reviewed for completeness prior to approving payment.
In exception circumstances, payment may need to be keyed manually within FLAIR.
Medical Quality Assurance Refunds
Process includes reviewing the refund application for completeness including all applicablesignatures, reviewing FLAIR for vendor profile, requesting new profiles if not available, andmanual entry of payment into FLAIR.
This position is responsible for assisting the with special payment processing which includes Utilities, TelephonePayments, Journal Transfers, Medical Records, and State Trauma payments.
Assemble vouchers daily for the work done in previous day processing. This process may include printing vouchersand preparing them for Department of Financial Services review.
Review each vendor’s profile to determine their warrant selection- Electronic or Mailed. Prepare remittance copies formailed warrants.
Update Invoice log with appropriate Statewide Document Numbers once payments are complete.
Assist in the year end processing if needed.
Perform additional duties, as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Incumbent must have excellent customer service skills and be able to solve problems using a logical methodicalapproach. Incumbent should also be familiar with Microsoft programs (i.e., Office, Excel, etc.)
