Total Compensation Estimator Tool Your Specific ResponsibilitiesJoin our Sarasota County Health Department Specialty Care team as an Advanced Public Health Nurse specializing in family planning, STD, and HIV prevention. Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting physical exams, managing health care regimens, and providing comprehensive guidance and counseling. You'll prescribe contraceptive methods, manage acute conditions, and ensure follow-up care as per protocols as well as perform adult health screenings for the Florida Breast and Cervical Early detection Program. Additionally, contribute to education programs, promote services, and participate in program planning and quality improvement initiatives. Stay current with best practices in family planning and healthcare, supporting staff development and regulatory compliance. Let's make a positive impact together!
