STARTING SALARY: $1,694.62 Bi-weekly (In accordance with the current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into this position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the currently rate, whichever is higher.)
Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Coordinate activities with North Region staff related to fiscal functions.
Review and analyze data and consult with North Region Director and North Region Operations Manager.
Monitor, analyze, and complete budget preparation for North Region.
Prepare monthly spending plan for submission and review to HQ budget staff.
Conduct budget meetings with the Regional Director and circuit Chief Probation Officers to review current budget status, spending plans and projections.
Receives and process incoming monies (cell phone payments, utilities, etc.).
Coordinate certified forward process for North Region.
Review and approve/disapprove purchase orders and My Florida Market Place requisitions as completed by circuit administrative staff to ensure compliance with operating procedures and State of Florida purcasing rules and regulations. Maintain logs of active Regional Purchase Requisitions and Direct Orders.
Serve as liaison between (8) circuits for input all required purchase requisitions that are required for operation of region for fiscal year.
Provide or assist in providing Purchasing Card and My Florida Market Place training to new and existing staff in the North Region.
Coordinate cellular phone, copy machine, postage machine, drug tests, and Electronic Pass activities and process and pay invoices.
Performs Other Related Duties As Required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Must be currently employed by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
High School diploma at the time of submission of candidate profile.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong organizational time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
Ability to read data, interpret trends, identify problems, develop solutions and design analyses.
Preferred QualificationExperience with data and data analysis.
Special NotesThis position may require flexibility in work hours, depending on workload.

Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restricted are acceptable, provided the driver wars corrective lenses while operation a vehicle.
