Your Specific Responsibilities :

This statewide position provides support to the Vectorborne Disease Surveillance Coordinator and works closely with local county health departments.

The position will serve as the primary case reviewer for tick-borne disease cases reported statewide and provider support for reviewing mosquito- and other vector-borne diseases.

Additional responsibilities include involvement with active surveillance efforts, response to any local introductions, assisting with vector-borne disease trainings, and assisting with the development and distribution of outreach materials to targeted audiences.

Duties will also include data analysis and presentation of findings in written and oral reports and trainings.

Qualifications :

  • Master degree with focus in Epidemiology or Biostatisics
  • 1 years of epidemiology experience
  • Ability to use Microsoft Software
  • Ability to communicate well in written and verbal formats
  • Able to work well in a team and independently

Special Note :

This is a grant funded OPS position that has been continuously funded for 15 years.
