This is an OPS position for $25.00 an hour for 40 hours a week. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reviews consultant prequalification applications for completeness, and make a determination whether the application request is to be returned for additional information, or forwarded to the prequalification technical evaluators for review. Provides specific instructions and guidance to consultants, when additional information is required for determination of minimum professional services work type qualification requirements. Communicate with consultant firms via letter, e-mail, website updates, etc., regarding status of qualification, as appropriate, including approvals, denials, qualification expiration, etc. Performs all necessary steps to formally approve or deny qualification, and provide sufficient administrative notice. Assists the Administrator in determining when a firm should be appropriately removed from the approved qualification list. Updates the Professional Services Information Professional Prequalification system (PSI-PPQ) with current consultant qualification information for firms only technically qualified at a minor level, for Job Cost Accounting System (JCAS) reviews, and for qualified firms seeking additional work types. Performs periodic quality assurance audits of samplings of minor qualification submittal packages to ensure consultant compliance with qualification requirements. Conducts inquiries to ensure lists of qualifying staff are still valid.
