Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment
Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records
Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data
Position DescriptionThis position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional administrative support, specific to human resource functions within a state veteran nursing home.
Communicate with others to obtain and verify information
Follow written and verbal directions and instructions
Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic
Problem solving and effective decision making
Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative
Perform other related duties as required
