This position is under the direction of the Operations & Management Consultant II - SES (Health Business Office Supervisor) and works in the clinical services area that completes scheduling, registration, and check-in / checkout of clients for FDOH-SJC.
This position is part of the Health Business Office that provides support for clinical services.

Performs other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of administrative office procedures and practices that include managing files and records
Knowledge of computer software systems and applications
Skills in effective interpersonal communication
Skills in time management
Skills in the use of Microsoft Office products
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to use independent judgment and critical thinking
Ability to gather information to determine appointment needs and make appropriate appointments
Ability to multitask, be flexible and work with unexpected interruptions
Ability to utilize HMS effectively within six months of employment
Qualifications :
Other job-related requirements for this position : Must be physically able to lift up to 20 lbs., bending, stooping or squatting.
Incumbent may be required to work before, during and / or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
