JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Tax Specialist I position in the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management, Field Operations Collection Process, in the Tampa service center. The incumbent responds to phone inquiries, assists with registering new business entities, analyzes, and reviews tax situations and returns, determines tax liabilities, and collects receivables in person, over the phone, or at the taxpayer’s business location. The incumbent also provides guidance on Florida tax statutes and Department policies and procedures and assists in training and educating the public and Department employees.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,798.59 monthly/$45,583.08 annually.
