State of Georgia is Hiring an Adjunct Instructor - Interiors Near Lawrenceville, GA

Employment Terms: This job is a part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional position in the Public and Professional Services Division that reports to the Program Director - Interiors.

Salary: Targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours taught.

Minimum Requirements (Job Code 10317) – Bachelor's degree in related discipline OR Associate’s degree plus minimum of two years related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience teaching drafting, rendering and graphics. Knowledge of general studies in Interior Design is preferred. Proficiency in current Auto Desk Software with an emphasis on AutoCAD software and Revit is preferred for some positions. Additional expertise in Sketch-Up and Photoshop are a plus. In addition, preference will be given to those with prior experience in Kitchen and Bath Design and two years working as a Kitchen and Bath Designer. Educational credentials in Kitchen and Bath NKBA Certifications are a plus. Proficiency in software used in kitchen and Bath design such as 20/20 or Chief Architect or any other related software is also a plus.

Job Description - Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material. Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for general core courses. Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows
