State of Georgia is Hiring an Adjunct Instructor - Supply Chain Mgmt Near Atlanta, GA

Under the general supervision of the Dean of Industrial and Transportation Technologies, the selected candidate's duties will include: (1) contributing to development of program syllabus, including appropriate goals and objectives; 2) teach classes as contracted; 3) submission of grades and reports in a timely manner; 4) participation in professional development activities; 5) providing student advisement; and 6) involvement in program recruitment efforts. The selected candidate will demonstrate knowledge of current practices in Transportation Management Systems, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Procurement, Warehousing and other fields relating to the transportation and logistics industry. The selected candidate must be able to define how to assess student learning outcomes, foster effective learning in both classroom and lab settings, and promote good public relations via contacts and regular communications with business, industry, and the public sector. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, supply chain management, logistics and transportation or closely related field. One year instructor/training/training experience within the last ten years in the Supply Chain Management Logistics, and/or industry. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Supply Chain Logistics/ Transportation Management systems or closely related field. Three years instructor/training experience AND Three years of industry experience within the last ten years in Supply Chain Logistics/Transportation Management Systems or closely related industry. Experience in an academic setting, using BANNER System and BlackBoard Online Management System. Knowledge of a computerized transportation management system.
