State of Georgia is Hiring a Custodial Services Worker - Macon RYDC - Macon GA (NSC) Near Macon, GA

Job SummaryUnder direct supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintains supplies as needed. This position is part-time and requires less than 30 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.
NOTE: This is a 29 hour per week position.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Maintains supplies as needed. Cleans and straightens assigned areas.
  • Performs floor care and maintenance.
  • Collects, sorts, launders, transports, and distributes linens and uniforms.
  • May mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
  • Operates hand tools.
  • Responds to general maintenance requests and janitorial duties inside and outside of facility.
Miniumum QualificationsAny combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
