Position Summary:

The Honolulu Department of Health, Fiscal and Administrative Service Office (FASO), is looking to hire an ELC Secretary to join their growing team! This position is an Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment funded through the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) grant funds.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as secretarial support for the Administrative Officer and admin team personnel in the Fiscal and Administrative Services Office (FASO), including facilitate paperwork for use in recruitment, training, and administrative efforts, executing routine administrative actions in accordance with established DOCD protocols, and performing general housekeeping tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: College or business school graduate preferred.

Experience: Three years of progressively responsible specialized clerical experience which includes the full range of office services in records and files maintenance, work and mail processing, purchasing, inventory control, and personnel services. Experience in typing correspondence, reports and other materials, which demonstrates knowledge of the English grammar, spelling and math.

License: Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license is preferred.
