1. Primary responsibility is processing daily mail to include date stamping, data entry of information, enrolling new members, and determining work flow for career ladder leveling.
2. Provide technical assistance to Providers seeking scholarships and meeting requirements.
3. Maintain records of training approved and taken by individual providers.
4. Prepare and distribute materials in a timely manner.
5. Perform filing tasks for extended periods of time.
6. Create and distribute materials in a timely manner, including faxing, email, mailing, and transporting mail to the post office.
7. Work with program coordinator and statewide child care resource and referral programs to ensure accuracy of information and records.
8. Respond to inquiries about the system according to guidelines.
9. Stay abreast of child care providers' training and scholarship needs, concerns, and interests related to the program.
10. Develop and maintain good relationships with child care centers and family child care providers, child care resource and referral staff, trainers, and others.
11. Participate in evaluation of program and outcomes of services.
12. Promote the importance of training to child care staff, public officials, and the public.
13. Maintain knowledge of current training requirements by the Department of Education,
Bureau of Licensing and Health Department, CDA credential requirements, NAEYC Accreditation requirements, the Early Learning Center Career Development System, and other quality standards.
14. Serve as a role model of continual training and professionalism.
15. Help prepare training materials for meetings and conferences.
16. Assist in developing, preparing, and organizing materials to promote system.
17. Help set up and conduct promotional events.
18. Assist with contracted services and other program services orother1asks as requested or needed.
19. Assist in conducting training in benefits and how the system works at meetings and conferences.
20. Perform filing tasks for extended periods of time.
21. Determine placement of individuals on career ladders based on education and professional activity.
22. Assist with processing scholarship applications.
23. Record messages and be responsible for voicemail daily.
24. Set up and conduct meetings to facilitate providers' applications.
25. Develop, prepare, and organize materials to promote scholarship applications.
26. Arrange and attend out of town and statewide meetings as scheduled or needed to meet goals of project
27. Respond to inquiries about the system according to guidelines.
28. Prepare bulk mail and transport bulk mail and daily mail to the post office when necessary.
29. Maintain confidentiality and follow office policies and guidelines.
