•Assist with Transportation management and program monitoring.
•Efficiently manage the auditing process for the Transportation Department within the Medicaid program.
•Assist the program manager with resolving programmatic issues by researching and reviewing Transportation benefits and policies.
•Assist the program manager with policy development by researching other state Medicaid program benefits and policies.
•Assist the program manager with special projects.
•Assist the program manager with researching and composition of legislative reports.
•Collaborates with LDH staff, other programs and State agencies, on transportation policy development, planning and implementation.
•Participate in workgroups, public meetings, and other activities as directed.
•Participate in disaster relief activities at the request of the Medicaid Program, LDH or UNO.
•Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor Degree
•Minimum2 years of professional experience
•Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
•Strong computer and research skills.
Desired Qualifications:
•Advanced degree.
•Bachelor’s Degree in public health, health policy, or other health related field.
•Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
•Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with program/policy research and/or documentation.
•Minimum 1 year of professional experience in transportation field, Medicaid policy, or Medicaid program support.
