* Assist with Transportation management and program monitoring.

* Efficiently manage the auditing process for the Transportation Department within the Medicaid program.

* Assist the program manager with resolving programmatic issues by researching and reviewing Transportation benefits and policies.

* Assist the program manager with policy development by researching other state Medicaid program benefits and policies.

* Assist the program manager with special projects.

* Assist the program manager with researching and composition of legislative reports.

* Collaborates with LDH staff, other programs and State agencies, on transportation policy development, planning and implementation.

* Participate in workgroups, public meetings, and other activities as directed.

* Participate in disaster relief activities at the request of the Medicaid Program, LDH or UNO.

* Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree

* Minimum 2 years of professional experience

* Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

* Strong computer and research skills.

Desired Qualifications:

* Advanced degree.

* Bachelor's Degree in public health, health policy, or other health related field.

* Minimum 3 years of professional experience.

* Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with program/policy research and/or documentation.

* Minimum 1 year of professional experience in transportation field, Medicaid policy, or Medicaid program support.
