Job Description:
Thisis technical services work inperformingdifficultandmoderatelycomplex engineering dutiesin a varietyof lab and office engineeringspecialties attheMaineDOT Central Laboratory in Bangor Maine.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Certificationwiththe American Concrete Instituteas a ConcreteStrengthTestingTechniciandesired.Candidates without certificationwillbe trainedwiththe expectationofbecomingCertifiedwithin2yearsofhire.Supervisionmaybe exercisedoversubordinate semi-skilled personnel performingtestingactivities.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
