Our team is seeking a Human Resources Developer (Trainee) 9-12 for our BFS Team. We are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges of meeting our goals and exceeding the standards!
This position serves as a resource for the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) Transportation Maintenance Worker (TMW) Work Element Program including promoting uniformity and standardization within the program. This position administers and conducts statewide maintenance training programs for winter and non-winter activities.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (9) level through the maximum rate at the advanced (12) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.

Human Resource Developer 10
One year of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development, training, or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer.
Human Resource Developer P11
Two years of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development, training, or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer 10.
Human Resource Developer 12
Three years of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development, training, or other programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer P11.
Education And Experience For Human Resources Developer (DepartmentalTrainee) 9 (FOR CLASSIFIED STATE EMPLOYEES ONLY)EducationEducational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
ExperienceAdministrative Support Experience
Two years of E10- or E11-level experience.
OR
Four years of advanced or supervisory 9-level, or Senior Executive Management Assistant 9 experience.
OR
Two years of advanced or supervisory 10-level experience.
OR
One year of advanced or supervisory 11-level (or higher) experience.
Business and Administrative Experience
Two years of E9- or E10-level experience.
OR
One year of advanced or supervisory 10-level (or higher) experience.
Human Services Experience
Two years of E9- or 10-level paraprofessional* or nursing experience.
OR
Two years of E10- or E11- or supervisory 10-level experience.
OR

Alternate Education And ExperienceHuman Resources Developer 9 - 12 Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
