Responsibilities include case management services, individual and group therapy, admission intakes and discharge coordination, along with other duties as needed. This position is essential for monitoring the basic psychosocial needs of clients in the Forensic Responsibility Program and for facilitating discharges to the community.This is a program that works with individuals who benefit from Cognitive Behavior Therapy with a focus on responsibility and accountability. The primary population consists of individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness and Antisocial Personality Disorder or associated features, who might struggle with criminogenic thinking or offending behaviors. This program also utilizes Risk-Need-Responsivity and the Good Lives Model.Responsibilities:To Apply:
Conduct Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)
Complete admission paperwork
Provide individual and/or group treatment related to CBT skills/therapy and complete corresponding documentation
Complete Individual Treatment/Rehabilitation Plans (ITRP) and Treatment Reviews
Write monthly notes progress/summary notes for clients
Offer case management to assigned clients
Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a regular basis
Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g. guardianship) as necessary
Other duties as assigned Eligibility:
Must have prior experience providing care for clients diagnosed with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual developmental disorders
Experience treatment or working with individuals diagnosed with Antisocial or Narcissistic Personality Disorder preferred, but not required
Knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices, and best social work practices encouraged
Degree or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred, but will consider candidates who meet the minimum qualifications
Willing to consider individuals who hold a BSW or related degree and are nearing completion of a MSW degree. This individual would likely qualify as a Clinical Caseworker until completion of MSW degree
