State of North Carolina is Hiring an Administrative Specialist I--Temporary Solutions Near Wake, NC

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).  
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 1800 Umstead Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603

The incumbent will be responsible for sending out surveys. Scanning and verifying Non-Disclosed files. Answering multi line phone. Creating electronic files. Merging files using Adobe Pro. Creating and sending Certified Packets to providers for Administrative Actions. Reviewing, processing, and submitting renewal applications. Processing closure of licenses. Sending and Receiving Faxes for surveyors and Upper Management.

  • Considerable knowledge of program policies, procedures and information systems in order to communicate and process information. 
  • Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information; ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, manipulation and/or analysis of data. 
  • Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs. 
  • Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions. 
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form; ability to adjust language or terminology to meet the needs of the audience; ability to use correct grammar, organization, and structure.
