• assist higher level personnel in preparation and or service of food as well as cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. 
• accurate portioning and serving of food as well as maintaining high sanitation standards in their assigned work areas.
• assistants to higher level food service personnel in areas of cooking, preparing cold food items, driving the food truck, etc.
• work is reviewed by a higher level employee for adherence to sanitation standards and completion of assignments.

To receive credit for all of your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the application form. Any information listed under the text resume section or on an attachment will not be considered for qualifying credit. Qualified applicants must document on the application that they possess all of the following (detail experience in your work history/duties that pertain to the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 

• experience preparing or serving food in a commercial or health care facility (Examples: fast food, restaurant chain, hospital, nursing home, etc.)
• knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation guidelines
• a valid NC driver's license
