Job ResponsibilitiesMidlands Technical College is a public, multi-campus, two-year public college serving the primary region of Richland, Lexington and Fairfield counties of South Carolina that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. The Adjunct Professor of Reparatory Care provides supervision of respiratory care students in the clinical and or classroom setting. Instruction includes hands on and theory, clinical management of students, and administrative tasks which may include reports, clinical documentation and student evaluation. Must possess high standards and will be required to assess student performance on a regular basis, maintain records of student attendance, grades and progress. Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community. Minimum And Additional RequirementsAssociate's degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited institution and must be credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The candidate must hold a current SC license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and be an active member of the American Associate for Respiratory Care. A minimum of two years of critical care experience required. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree with two (2) years of teaching in an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
