Job Responsibilities

Implement and refine district approved curriculum to meet the evolving educational needs of students. Systematically gather analyze, and use data to measure student progress guide instruction, and provide timely feedback. Uses technology effectively to enhance student learning and to manage the classroom. Maintain a safe, student-centered learning environment that is engagng and respectful. Manage classroom with clear, consistent expectations for student behavior with an aim to create a calm, safe, orderly learning community. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans consistent with compliance requirements. Complete additional special education actions and attend meetings as applicable as part of a student's educational team.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Completion of a CAEP approved training program or eligible for SC certification through the State Department of Education's approved alternate certification routes. Must have a valid SC certification (or is eligible to obtain a SC certificate) in the subject area(s) employed to teach. Ability to implement appropriate communication modality and/or to acquire requisite skills.

If selected for an interview you must provide verification of your highest level of education (i.e., copy of BA Degree, high school diploma, college transcripts) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification (i.e., nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).
