DSHS ALTSA APS - Office Chief - Program Integrity, Performance, and Advancement (PIPA)
Adult Protective Services (APS) Division within the Aging and Long-Term Administration (ALTSA), Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) has an exciting opportunity for an Office Chief to join our team.
The Office Chief of Program Integrity, Performance, and Advancement reports directly to the Deputy Director of Adult Protective Services (APS), a division within the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA). ALTSA has the mission of transforming lives by promoting choice, independence, and safety through innovative services. APS receives reports and investigates vulnerable adult abandonment, abuse, neglect, exploitation, financial exploitation, and self-neglect, and offers and provides protective services.
You'll manage and oversee a team of professionals who are focused and accountable for the division’s program integrity and quality improvement (QI) initiatives, workforce development activities, projects, grants, contracts and outreach and engagement activities. These activities support the overall division and staff statewide.
As the Program Integrity Performance and Advancement Office Chief, you will supervise, manage, and oversee all aspects of the unit and is a critical member of the APS executive leadership team with significant input and responsibility for short- and long- range division planning and overall responsibility for the development, management, and implementation of statewide program integrity and quality improvement efforts, related policies, procedures, practices, performance and outcome measures, training, outreach and workforce development.
This position supervises, leads, and manages through advanced level leadership and management skills, supporting the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) mission to transform lives.
