The Opportunity
WSDOT is currently seeking to fill a Property & Acquisition Specialist 3 in our North Central Region. This journey level position located within the Acquisition Department, acquires, through negotiation under eminent domain, the real property necessary to deliver the WSDOT North Central Region’s highway construction projects. This position represents the State to the public in negotiations and is responsible for compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, as amended, and Chapters 6 and 9 of the WSDOT Right of Way Manual, in order to qualify for and preserve federal funds necessary to support the WSDOT’s program delivery.
