Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Technician.

Position Overview:

We have an immediate need for a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our direct client for a 3 Months contract.

Job Details:

Title: Sterile Processing Technician.
Location: Tacoma, WA.
Duration: 3 Months.
Shift: 8H Nights/ Floating: Very rare, based on facility needs.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Experience: Strong SPT experience of 2 years.
Case Types: Spine, Neuro, CV, Plastics, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci), General, GYN, Colorectal, ENT.

Skills required:

• Strong decontamination, assembly, and sterilization experience
• Must be comfortable with general, orthopedic, robotic, CV, vascular, ENT and implant sets.
• Able to operate independently: Sterilizers (STERIS), Steris Cart Washer, Sterrad low temp sterilizers.
• Assemble a variety of sets, inspecting, cleaning, sorting, wrapping.
• Ex: Scythe, DePuy, Globus, Medtronic, Zimmer.
• Knowledgeable in the 100 basic instruments
• Know the process of washer, disinfectors, sterilizer functionality during the assembly of sets.
• Be able to differentiate between sterilizers.
• Steam/Prevac
• Low Temp (ESP) (STERRAD)
• Catheters, Davinci trocars, gauze, bandages, etc.
• Knowledgeable on soft goods for specific cases
• Soft skills: Self-motivated, willing to ask questions, team player, calm demeanor.

Licensing: CRCST.

Preferred: CBSPP.

Certifications :Current Basic Life Support.
