Stateline Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team!

This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling; however, rotating Saturday coverage is required.

Our clinic sees a high number of rescue pets and appointments on a walk-in basis. To thrive in this role, our Veterinary Technicians must be adaptable and able to remain calm in busy, ever-changing environments.

Primary responsibilities and experience:

• Client communication and education
• Patient handling and restraint (cats and dogs)
• Surgical Prep and assistance
• Anesthetic induction and monitoring
• Blood draws
• IVC placement
• Pharmacy duties and lab work
• Administering vaccines and injections
• Medication administration
• Outpatient procedures
• General hospital cleaning and sterilization

Full-time benefits and compensation:

• Hourly Pay: $17 - $20/hour (based on experience and credentials)

Stateline Animal Clinic was never on Stateline Road, but it was on the Mississippi/Tennessee border in its past life. Founded more than 45 years ago, our clinic is now conveniently located off of Summer Avenue, about 15 miles from downtown Memphis, TN. The focus of our practice is canine and feline medicine; however, we’ll also see pocket pets on occasion. Our clinic is walk-in based, and our 3-doctors’ caseload is predominantly composed of spays/neuters, and a fair number of enucleations, laparotomies, and dentistry. The Stateline mission is to customize treatments while accommodating individual needs and providing high-quality care, and we do so by creating a fantastic environment where our staff is valued and truly love what they do.
