Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative. As the first point of contact for our customers, this role is crucial in providing exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our grocery store. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
Duties:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions, including answering questions about products, services, and promotions.
- Supply Chain industry experience
- Handle customer transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
- Maintain knowledge of store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize errors.
- Utilize basic math skills to handle cash register transactions and make change.
- Collaborate with management to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide bilingual support to customers as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a grocery store, is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
- Proven sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including bilingual support.
