Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Supervisor - Housekeeping & Maintenance. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of housekeeping and maintenance teams. This includes coordinating cleaning schedules, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards are met, managing inventory and supplies, and resolving any guest issues or concerns related to housekeeping and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all guests have a great first impression of our properties.
  • Oversee the Housekeeping (HK) Maintenance (MT) teams, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards are met across all properties. 
  • Coordinate operations of all vacation rental properties, including scheduling cleanings, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct property inspections, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement HK training programs and quality assurance checks.
  • Hire, train, and onboard, cleaning, maintenance, and HK staff.
  • Oversee routine maintenance tasks such as light bulb changes and battery replacements.
  • Foster relationships with local vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies, equipment, and HK materials.
  • Ensure accurate listings of properties on our website and other booking platforms.
  • Stay updated on local and state regulations and laws related to vacation rentals.
  • Participate in meetings with the General Manager, Customer Care, Housekeeping, ownership, and clients.
  • Assist in monthly client statements and report on performance metrics.
  • Onboard new properties, including supply ordering and utility setup.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading Housekeeping operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English & Spanish.
  • Organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, property management software, and general tech aptitude.
  • Residency or willingness to travel extensively in Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding areas.
