Job Description

The Video Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the production and implementation of video content to support the organization’s strategic direction and brand strategy. This position supports key line of business initiatives and brand projects by delivering engaging internal and external video content across multiple platforms.

Core Job Requirements/Outcomes

  • Lead the creation and implementation of video content to support strategic initiatives and department goals by utilizing professional video cameras, lighting and audio equipment, and video editing software to produce high quality and brand compliant content.
  • Support internal initiatives to drive employee engagement and amplify our brand by producing internal video recordings, directing interviews, producing live monthly staff meeting broadcasts and supporting partners with training and educational videos, as well as producing internal leadership messages to employees. 
  • Lead the production of external facing video content to support line of business goals and brand strategies to increase awareness and grow member engagement by creating video podcasts, producing live events, and creating video content to support sponsorships and community outreach.

Other Essential Functions

  • Leads research trends and industry best practices, including AI and social content, and makes recommendations for engaging and innovative video content.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners, IT, Community Relations, and the Brand Marketing team, including graphic designers and writers, to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Maintain video equipment including lighting and audio and maintain internal and external STCU studios.
  •  Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet brand and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree with 2 years of related work experience required.

Job Experience: Minimum three years related work experience including using professional recording equipment and video editing software required. Animation design skills a plus.

Software Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; video editing software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Capcut and After Effects.

Other Skills: Strong communications skills to include the ability to articulate clearly in both written and verbal delivery methods with experience conducting interviews. Strong ability to build relationships with diverse groups, business representatives and leaders, as well as community liaisons.

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Travel Demands: Work hours may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and some out-of-town travel. Must have reliable transportation.
