Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key accountabilities
- Must currently meet the State requirements for assisting in VPK
- Willing to follow the teaching curriculum and incorporate assigned technology strategies in the classroom. Experience in working with Creative Curriculum is a plus.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe classroom environment.
- Attend all required staff meetings, trainings and / or school functions as determined by the Director.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Observe all rules and regulations of Waterman Early Learning Academy and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children, including continuing education responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass a thorough background screening
- Must currently have completed the DCF required 45 hours, SR training classes, and First Aid / CPR.
Education and Experience
Minimum 1-year experience in early childhood education
Work Environment
- Noise levels will vary
