The Miami office of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A. is seeking a self-driven and motivated Real Estate Analyst to join our Property Tax Appeal Group.
Our group’s goal is to achieve significant tax savings throughout Florida by aggressively advocating our clients’ rights through administrative appeals before Value Adjustment Boards and in Circuit Court. We have substantial experience challenging the valuation of nearly every type of property including office buildings, hotels, apartment and condominium buildings, multi-family housing, retail, hospitals, assisted/independent living facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities, storage facilities, vacant and undeveloped land, dealerships, marinas, gas stations, mixed-use, parking, and tangible personal property.
With such an assortment of interesting and complex challenges, we are seeking a candidate with a combination of experience, training and education that demonstrates the ability to focus and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethics who would like to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The applicant should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a real estate related field with excellent quantitative and analytical skills demonstrated by projects that may have included, but were not limited to due diligence, underwriting, appraisal, forecasting, financial modeling, and the market analyses of commercial and/or residential properties. The individual will assist the group’s attorneys and senior analyst in the preparation of property tax appeals in various counties throughout the State of Florida.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, and Internet navigation and research.
Experience with tools and programs such as CoStar, SwiftEstimator, GIS, MLS, IMAPP and RCA is a plus.
