Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.

General Job Description:● Initiate, lead, and uphold policies, practices, and procedures of the company
● Maintain clean and safe work environment
● Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
● Maintain a positive and professional manner in all interactions, whether with employees or customers
● Work in conjunction with the Manager, and Yard or Field Foreman to determine what tasks need to be completed, and in what order
○ Report to Manager but Manager may assign you to a Yard or Field Foreman to report to for a certain job or timeframe

● Load, drive, and unload any material or equipment, wherever it needs to go
● Ability to operate a forklift, as needed
● Ability to drive long distances for field work and material transfers, as needed
● Ability to appropriately secure (via straps or chains) loads and apply appropriate signage to semi-truck
● Maintain appropriate DOT logs
● Maintain responsible use of company credit cards and charge accounts
● Maintain appropriate company software and applications (spreadsheets/Driveroo)
● Perform general office administration duties as needed
● Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by manager, as needed

Duties and Job Responsibilities:● Appropriate drug/alcohol testing
● Pass all Department of Transportation (DOT) testing (see handbook for requirements)
● Excellent attendance (no tardiness or absences in the 90-day probationary period, unless approved by manager)

● Maintain safe and clean work environment
● Communicate any issues immediately to the Manager, or Yard or Field Foreman
● Perform duties assigned by the Manager, or Yard or Field Foreman, as needed

● Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (required)

● Accident History - No DOT accidents within the last 3 years
● DUI - No driving under the influence (DUI) offenses.
● Traffic Violations - No serious traffic violations in the past 3 years

● Must be able to complete a test walk-around and a test drive.

Key Competencies:● Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while provided excellent customer service
● Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and any other required equipment
● Ability to communicate effectively using oral and written communication skills
● Ability to intermittently bend, crouch, reach, push and pull 50lbs and lift 50lbs from floor to waist
● Ability to sit for extended periods of time, and easily get in and out of semi-truck
● Ability to execute job duties independently without constant supervision
● Ability to work overtime and be flexible with work schedule/hours, as needed
● Ability to show up to work on time and ready to work
