- Manage Steel Grip’s website by keeping content current and expanding our company brand awareness.
- Support the Shopify sales platform by increasing exposure and sales.
- Minor travel may be required for national shows and other opportunities to expand Steel Grips brand.
- Process export sales in the system.
- Provide support to customer service team on an as needed basis.
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
- Tracks stock levels.
- Coordinates customer training.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- 2 years related experience in sales
- Attention to detail
- Displayed competency on operating machinery
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Ability to read and comprehend details directions
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to travel up to 15%
