*Duties*

- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness during walks
- Clean up after dogs, including disposing of waste properly
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with dog owners

*Qualifications*
- Previous experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is preferred
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners
- Physical fitness and stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walking assignments

*Skills*
- Equine: While not directly related to the role of a dog walker, equine experience can demonstrate a strong understanding of animal care and handling.
- Veterinary: Knowledge or experience in veterinary medicine can be beneficial in identifying signs of distress or illness in dogs.
- Pet care: Familiarity with general pet care practices, such as feeding, grooming, and administering medication, is advantageous.
- Animal care: A background in animal care can contribute to the ability to provide appropriate care and attention to dogs during walks.
- Pet sitting: Experience in pet sitting demonstrates responsibility and an understanding of the needs of different animals.
- Dog handling: Proficiency in safely handling dogs is essential for ensuring the safety of both the dog walker and the dogs being walked.

As a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker, you will be entrusted with the care and well-being of animals, utilizing core skills in animal handling, pet sitting, and animal care.
