Steeler’s Accounts Receivable position is a mid-level position where you will be directly responsible for your branch’s invoicing and payment processing. You will be the internal customer service representative for your branches and assist them with all of their customer payments. Your primary responsibilities will include invoice sales order, processing cash payments, completing journal entries and posting payments to the correct accounts. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This job reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities

May include, but not limited to:

Timely and accurate posting of payments to customer accounts.

Creating sales invoices for your assigned branches

Preparing and making bank deposits

Reviewing open sales orders

Reconciling and analyzing account records

Communicating with branch personnel regarding accounts and payments.

Preparing and mailing customer statements

Matching and filing closed orders and invoices.

Additional tasks may be assigned

Skills

Associates degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school

Or six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of GAAP standards and principles.

Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

Demonstrated time management and planning skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent phone communication skills.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and work ethic.

Punctual and accurate.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Valid driver's license.

preferred:

Construction industry experience and knowledge.

Bilingual English/Spanish.
