Responsibilities and Duties:

• Do you want to be a local CDL Delivery Driver and be home every night? Are you looking to start a new career as a Beer Delivery Driver?

• No CDL? No problem! Get paid to train with our on-the-job Commercial Driver Training Program.
• Stein Distributing is looking for hardworking individuals. New team members will initially be hired as a Delivery helper and will work in that role for the first 30 days while obtaining their CDL learner's permit. After receiving a CDL learners permit, the new team member will work with the Delivery Supervisors and Driver trainers for the next 60 days, working to obtain their Class A CDL. After 90 days of on-the-job training, new team members will be expected to have a valid CDL Driver’s License.

• All Delivery Employees at Stein Distributing will be expected to deliver and merchandise Stein Distributing’s products on their assigned routes daily. This would include rotation of all products on accounts shelves and backstock and displays. In addition, they will be expected to pick up returnable empties and other materials at retail accounts and other locations as directed by Stein Distributing’s management. They will also be required to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all Stein Distributing customers, as well as inter-company personnel.

Hourly: $18/hr. - $20/hr. depending on experience

Upon completion of CDL Training, the pay rate increases to $22/hr.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Positive and professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. And be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and repetitively.
• Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, squat, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
