TITLE: Data Scientist
Terms: 6 month contract (chance of extension based on performance)
Work schedule details: Chicago, Il (ONLY LOCAL AND ONSITE)
Work Authorization: OR EAD
Position Overview / Day to Day Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team, who will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making through advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), machine learning model building, programming, feature engineering, and data visualization.
Top Skills:
10 years' experience (total career experience) in the Data space
5 years' experience as a Data Scientist
5 years' experience programming with Python
5 years' experience with SQL for database querying and data manipulation
3 years' experience in Data Visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
Must have Exploratory Data Analysis Experience (EDA) for data cleaning, data preprocessing, and dealing with missing or inconsistent data.
Experience in developing, training, and validating machine learning models for various applications.
Bachelor's degree or higher
Nice to Have:
Experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of machine learning models.
Previous experience in industries such as safety, compliance, or engineering is a plus.
Experience in time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing is a plus.
