Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for customer inquiries seeking technical assistance in person, phone, email, or collaboration tools. Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Advise on appropriate actions.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Maintain inventory of equipment through asset management and documentation.
Follow standardized help desk procedures and log all help desk interactions.
Document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education RequiredAssociate degree with college coursework in computer science, information technology, or related discipline.
Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required1 years of experience in Help Desk Support, Customer Service or related environment.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of: Windows OS (Windows 10); best practices; intermediate proficiency in macOS (High Sierra/Mojave); Symantec Antivirus, Active Directory, and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) with intermediate skill level; relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, etc).
Skill in: Working as member of a team; communicating effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Ability to: Manage engine products; demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail; work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
