STEM Search Group is Hiring a Quality Supervisor Near Spartanburg, SC
What you'll do:
- Oversee workers in inspection and testing to ensure accuracy and quality of products, labeling, quantity, and other customer requirements
- Review QA instructions, product specs, and production schedules to determine best method for inspections, tests, sequence of operations, etc.
- Provide recommendations for improved inspection methods and workflow
- Facilitate seamless communication between shifts in quality department
- Lead internal audit activities corresponding to production schedules and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement
- Organize and lead training activities for product quality
- Maintain key quality documentation such as work instructions, training guides, and related forms and data
What we're looking for:
- 5 years QA experience in automotive manufacturing industry
- Minimum 3 years of leadership and supervisory experience in quality control
- Associates Degree or High School diploma and equivalent certifications and experience in quality assurance, process improvement, and data analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience writing detailed work instructions and procedures
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 compliance
