As we continue our journey of building out our next-gen analytics platform, a Senior BSA will collaborate closely with our claims, underwriting, finance and client-facing business groups to gather requirements, understand objective, define metrics, and re-envision future state of reports/dashboards. In addition, you will partner closely with the technical and product teams to help develop solutions that meet these business objectives, support business process, and help transform data into actionable insights.

Principal Duties & Accountabilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to reporting and analytics.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing data sources, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives to meet business needs
- Prepare detailed specifications and wireframes/mockups for engineers
- Ensure technical design and implementation meets business and systems requirements of the project and are in line with enterprise goals and objectives
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, help resolve issues and track future enhancements
- Performs work with minimal supervision and guidance
- BA/BS degree is preferred
- 6 years of relevant experience including in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL queries.
- Strong system analysis & technical skills is required
- Detail-oriented and inquisitive
- Experience in the insurance, medical malpractice, or healthcare industry is preferred
- Sound understanding of full project life cycle and SDLC
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence is preferred
