Must be independentJob SummaryThe Senior SCCM Administrator position will have a strong background in SCCM administration and will play a key role in managing our enterprise-level SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. The Sr. Administrator is an expert level role responsible for supporting and resolving advanced system application inquiries, reports of issues, and service needs. This position requires Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure to support software distribution, patch management, operating system deployment, and endpoint protection across the organization
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SCCM policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline software deployment, automate tasks, and enhance system efficiency.
  • Managing Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Configuration Manager systems, overseeing Operating System Images, Application Packaging, and Software Update Deployments.
  • Create and maintain Windows images using state-of-the-art tools such as SCCM, MDT, ADK, DISM, and Ghost, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain Application Packages and Software Updates Deployments, keeping systems up to date. Continuous Improvement: Stay on top of industry standards and product life cycles, making sure all servers and client systems meet the latest requirements.
  • Plan and execute SCCM upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose and solve common system problems even under pressure and aggressive deadlines, leveraging your resourcefulness in a dynamic environment.
  • Contribute to projects involving complex system interfaces and interdependencies, integrating multiple solutions seamlessly.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior SCCM administrators and support staff; serve as a subject matter expert on SCCM-related topics.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of all procedures for image creation and support documents, ensuring knowledge is shared and maintained.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, showcasing your strong foundation in technology.
  • Strong scripting skills in Batch, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM architecture, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and network infrastructure.
  • Display comprehensive knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 OS troubleshooting, allowing you to resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Experience with patch management, software distribution, application packaging, and operating system deployment using SCCM.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • More than seven years of hands-on technical experience and a strong working understanding of installed systems, can troubleshoot, and resolve many problems, and understand integration points with other systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Endpoint Manager design, deployment, configuration, support, and hierarchy, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Possess experience with vSphere/Hyper-V virtualization, enabling you to navigate the virtual landscape effectively.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and task automation.
  • Show an understanding of application development methods and the Project Execution Process, including requirement specification, design, development/configuration, and testing of business application systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA), Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Manager Administrator (MEAA), or similar certifications are a plus. Knowledge in Technical aspects including reports, workflows would be an added advantage
