Must Have Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience or Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
  • ITIL certification, ServiceNow Administrator and ServiceNow Developer Certifications
  • ServiceNow development experience
Preferences
  • AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate or Developer Associate certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB is a plus
  • Experience with system deployment and decommissioning
  • Experience designing workflows
  • Understanding of network provisioning and automation
  • Understanding of enterprise storage configurations and concepts

Job Details: ServiceNow Architect
  • Leads the definition of product roadmaps and architecture for a product family, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture
  • Collaborates with the broader architecture community to ensure that their products align with target architectures and technology roadmaps and provides input on required platform capabilities and improving development tools/processes
  • Works with other product teams, technology experts, and business stakeholders to provide functional support
  • Assists in the evaluation of vendors and products and participates in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams
  • Acts as highest-level technical expert, resolving issues, assessing any potential risks and identifying solutions
  • Leads the discussions related to key product architecture decisions. Identifies new opportunities to improve products and provide input and support to the business
  • Develops and reviews product architecture and design documentation
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects
  • Assists in the development of and management of architecture governance process(es)
  • Plans and implements new technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT platform projects. Designs, implements, and deploys platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
  • Provides expert level technical support and ensures reliable operation of production. Diagnoses and troubleshoots the most complex issues for hardware or software systems on multiple platforms. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
  • Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates technologies vendor products. Recommends vendor selections and new technologies.
  • Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
  • Learns and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
  • Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and technologies. Troubleshoots and resolves the most complex issues elevated from staff. Provides guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
  • Administers system activities. Writes the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical and physical design.
